# NextMoveAI — Privacy Policy
## 1. Overview
NextMoveAI ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
## 2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you enter into free tools. When you use Score, Spending, Plan, Grow, or Invest, the financial numbers you type (income, spending, debt, savings, goals, etc.) are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This information is not automatically sent to our servers and is not visible to us unless you separately choose to submit it (see below).
2.2 Email address, if you choose to save your results. If you enter your email address to receive a copy of your results, we collect: your email address, which page you used, a snapshot of the results shown to you, and the timestamp. This is stored in our internal systems (a Google Sheet accessed via a private Google Apps Script) and used to send you the requested email and, if you consent, occasional related communications.
2.3 AI Coach conversations. Questions you ask Dalo (free) or Veto (PRO) are sent to our AI backend to generate a response. If you have connected your saved financial data (only possible with a paid Veto subscription), relevant numbers are included in that request so the AI can reference your real information. Free-tier AI conversations (homepage and /ai-preview) do not include your financial data under any circumstance.
2.4 Subscription and payment information. If you subscribe to NextMoveAI PRO, payment is processed by Squarespace Payments (or Stripe, if applicable). We do not directly store your full payment card details — that is handled by our payment processor in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.
2.5 Standard website analytics. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information (browser type, general location, pages visited) through standard analytics tools to understand site usage.
## 3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Send you a copy of your results, if requested
- Provide AI Coach responses
- Process and manage PRO subscriptions
- Improve the Service over time
- Communicate with you about your account or requested information
## 4. No Selling of Data
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
## 5. Third-Party Services
We use the following categories of third-party services to operate NextMoveAI:
- Squarespace — website hosting, Member Areas, and payment processing
- Google (Apps Script / Sheets) — email capture storage and delivery
- AI backend provider — to generate Dalo and Veto responses
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf.
## 6. Data Retention
Financial data entered into free tools remains only in your browser's local storage and is retained until you clear it or clear your browser data — we do not control or access this directly. Email capture records are retained until you request deletion (see below) or as needed for legitimate business purposes.
## 7. Your Choices
- Clear your data: Most tools include a "Clear Everything" option that removes your locally stored numbers.
- Unsubscribe: Any email communications include an unsubscribe option.
- Request deletion: You can request deletion of your captured email/data by contacting us (see below).
- Cancel PRO: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
## 8. Children's Privacy
NextMoveAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
## 9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information we collect, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
